Observe – how the wind animates the landscape – the presence of ghosts, photographic work 2024
This photographic work originated on one of the many trips we make with children.
Wind, rain, snow, fog, heat and cold are common concerns when planning and carrying out all our activities on the outdoors. In this educatively artistic research work we focus on the type of field research that is particularly affected and influenced by climate and weather. These conditions make us particularly sensitive to the numerous ways in which meteorological conditions shape our working practices on the ground, as well as experience.

how the wind animates the landscape –
the presence of ghosts.
Weather, place, and being are inseparable, but because they are so deeply connected, we often forget their interconnectedness. How we understand the weather can be understood as a kind of somatic work. In fact, we may feel the weather in the present moment, but our feelings are influenced by sensory abilities that are backed up by memories and habits.
