Wind, rain, snow, fog, heat and cold are common concerns when planning and carrying out all activities in the field or outdoors. As part of the educational and research environment Sea-Water Amplification (SWA), we focus on the type of field research that is particularly affected and influenced by climate and weather. These conditions make us particularly sensitive to the many ways in which meteorological conditions shape our field work practices as well as experience.
